We'll be celebrating the work of our very own Lynsey Boyle, with music from the West Seattle Ukulele Players starting at 5:30PM. We can't wait to celebrate community, art, and music together! Lynsey Boyle is a Seattle-based contemporary artist creating vibrant acrylic paintings and soulful watercolor pet portraits, inspired by plants, her dog Luna Moonshine, and the beauty of everyday life here in West Seattle. Her latest series, Shadow & Light, captures the quiet magic of light and shadow moving through the natural world, a joyful, expressive celebration of the love and light found in everyday moments. With a Fine Arts degree and over two decades of experience, her work explores the intersection of form, color, and emotion, drawing inspiration from plants, her dog Luna Moonshine, and the beauty of everyday life in West Seattle. Her abstract acrylic pieces are a dynamic exploration of mood, memory, and movement, capturing the quiet magic of light and shadow moving through the natural world. Using layers of bold color, texture, and brushwork, Lynsey creates immersive, joyful pieces that celebrate the love and light found in everyday moments. In contrast, her watercolor pet portraits showcase a gift for distilling deep emotional connection and personality through fine detail and softness, capturing the spirit and individuality of beloved companions. Lynsey spent 15 years as a resident artist in Texas, exhibiting extensively in Dallas and Austin, with work featured in galleries, private collections, and interior design projects across the state. Now calling Seattle home, she is an active part of the city's creative community, working at Chihuly Garden and Glass and West Seattle Nursery, where she draws daily inspiration from both glass art and the botanical world.
