Hands-on Hardcover Photo Album Stab Bound Bookbinding Class art class in the Book Arts studio! In this hardcover photo album bookbinding class you will create a hand-bound hardcover book perfect for displaying photography – from family photos to art prints! This is a two evening workshop – one to create the hardcover customized pieces and another to bind the album in a stab bound stitch, great for laying completely flat to display photos! Customize your book by choosing from our various decorative book papers and cloth. This class is geared towards beginners and welcomes makers of all skill levels. Join us! This is a two date workshop, participants must attend both dates of this class listed in the registration form below. Things to note: • Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+. • This is a two session class. She has a BFA in photography from the University of Illinois. The disciplines she works in are photography, collage, book arts, installation art, performance, printmaking, and film making. In addition to making art, she is passionate about building communities, sharing skills, mentoring, and teaching. She owns Laurel Tree Bindery specializing in one of a kind books and short print runs of poetry chapbooks, art books, short stories, children’s books, genealogies & memoirs, custom wedding & baby books, and photo books.
