December 4, 2026 Registration link coming soon… Knowing how to manage the complexity of the short sale or foreclosure process is a critical skill that can increase your access to listings. If you are a REALTOR®, earning your SFR® certification will increase your credibility, and give you access to a new client base of buyers and sellers dealing with distressed properties. In this training you will learn how to help your clients maneuver the complexities of a short sale or potential foreclosure. This course covers Forbearances, Short Sales and the REO markets. It is specifically designed to show how the real estate professional can serve as a resource to sellers and buyers in the brokerage of distressed properties. Real estate professionals play an invaluable role in helping homeowners and home buyers navigate these transactions. And, as a result, real estate professionals can help contribute to the real estate recovery in their market. The SFR Certification is a lifetime career certification with no annual renewal fees. Including these lifetime career benefits: Access to SFR logo A library of customizable marketing material Differentiation as SFR Certified on the realtor.com and nar.realtor websites Online networking with your SFR Certified peers This course is also an approved elective for the Accredited Buyer Representative NAR Designation Additionally, R.E.E.S. will provide each REALTOR® with: Reiteration of the SFR certification process Recommendations for next steps Numerous additional handouts The ability to email R.E.E.S. with questions anytime in the future, as long as R.E.E.S. is still teaching this class Taught by Professor Patricia de Santos who has been a real estate professional since 1979. Ms. De Santos is also a Real Estate Professor and has been teaching real estate courses across the nation and at a local community college since 2008. During Ms. De Santos’ career she has earned two Master’s Degrees and is a Certified Paralegal.
