About this event
One of 65 upcoming events at Whatcom Museum.
Looking for a calmer, more comfortable way to visit the Museum with your child? Low Sensory Sunday Hours offer a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment designed for children and families who benefit from a quieter experience. During this special time, the Family Interactive Gallery (FIG) is closed to the general public, allowing children ages 12 and younger with autism spectrum and other sensory processing needs to explore, play, and connect at their own pace. Museum staff are available throughout the program to support families, and sensory-friendly tools and accommodations will be provided to help make your visit smooth and enjoyable. Free to attend RSVP encouraged but not required. Questions or accessibility requests? Contact Liliannah Herrera at [email protected]. Low Sensory Sunday Hours are presented by Hoagland Pharmacy.
