The Wooten Brothers bring a singular legacy of musical innovation shaped over decades of performance, composition, and collaboration. First appearing as prodigies in 1966, the family ensemble, led by brothers Regi, Roy “Future Man,” Joseph, and Victor Wooten, has earned 10 Grammy Awards and 26 nominations, reflecting a body of work that transcends genre and tradition. Their music draws from R&B roots while seamlessly integrating jazz, funk, classical, soul, and rock. Victor Wooten, recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the ten greatest bass players of all time, anchors a group defined by virtuosity and creative range. From Roy’s inventive “Drumitar” to Joseph’s work with the Steve Miller Band and Regi’s global reputation as an educator, each brother contributes a distinct voice to an expansive, evolving sound.
