One of 12 upcoming events at White Bear Lake Historical Society.
Experience Women’s Suffrage History through creative educational activities and crafts! Local artist and historian, Madeline Hansen, will lead participants in a variety of “Votes for Women” art projects as they learn about Minnesota’s special role in Women’s Suffrage History. The legacy of White Bear’s very own Emily Gilman Noyes will be featured. Attendees will work together to create a Suffrage History Timeline, decorate a commemorative trellis and take part in a Suffrage Parade. In addition to make and take crafts, each participant will receive a Suffrage Swag Bag filled with Women’s History resources and keepsakes. Inspiration and fun is guaranteed!
