Back to (Nature) Basics – Grades 5-8

Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day) For Grades 5-8 Back to Nature Basics 1:30-4:30pm Middle schoolers, let’s UNPLUG and connect with the natural world. Back to Nature Basics is an immersive program designed to teach topics such as map-reading, navigation, wildlife/plant awareness and identification, and other practical skills that come in handy when spending time in nature WITHOUT the aid of internet and cell phone service. Wear good hiking shoes, appropriate layers, and bring a snack and water bottle. 1:30-4:30pm. Meet in the A.B. Ceder Room. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
