Children’s Free Week in the Museum

April 13 – 19, 2027 In Loving Memory of Michael Main from his Family and Friends. Free admission to children ages 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. For the people that were lucky enough to have Michael in their life, his joy of the natural world was limitless, and you couldn’t help but be lifted up by it. He drank in every beautiful moment that he experienced outside with wholehearted and overflowing enthusiasm. The colors of a sunset, the smell of the forest after a rain, the sight of spring’s first wild blooms, and the feeling of moving along the trails with a swiftness all filled him with child-like glee and a nature-induced euphoria. Nature wasn’t just a side interest for Michael; it was what nourished his spirit. When sharing nature’s grandeur with others, his joy was contagious. There are few acts that would be more fitting than to have Michael’s final share of his deep appreciation of nature be his greatest; a legacy of inspiring countless generations of children to come.
