Saturday, October 24, 2026 Let the oldest and largest trees of Litchfield tell the tales of our town’s rich history. This van tour will take you to notable trees, such as Wolcott’s Sycamore, the Colvocoresses Oak, the rare Franklin Tree, and “The Biggest Tree” in Litchfield. Education Directors Kate Zullo from the Litchfield Historical Society and Carrie Szwed from White Memorial will be your hosts. At each location, gather around the trees to marvel at them while learning about their amazing cultural and natural history. 10am-12noon. We will board the 15-passenger van in the parking lot of White Memorial, 80 Whitehall Rd. Space is limited to 12 people and advanced registration is required.
