Indigenous Peoples Day

Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day with free admission at the Eiteljorg Museum on Monday, October 12th! The Eiteljorg invites you to celebrate the day with a full schedule of Great Lakes tribal histories, arts, and cultures with live performances and make-and-take art activities. Sit in on an artist panel discussion and learn about how their different cultures and traditions inform their artwork. Tours of the galleries led by curators Dorene Red Cloud (Oglala Lakota) and Monica Raphael (Anishinaabe/Sicangu Lakota) provide a chance to learn more about the Native art in our collection.
