$5 Workshop: Intro to Printmaking

Class Title: Intro to Printmaking Instructor: WKM Staff Cost: $5 Time and date(s): Saturday, 9/5 from  10:00AM-1:00PM Location: Print Shop, Art Lab lower level (Access is stairs-only) Skill level: New Learners Audience: Teen – adult Description: $5 Art Lab Anniversary deals are extended into 2026! What is printmaking, anyway? It’s as simple as creating a unique image on a repeatable surface, then printing an edition (series) of identical prints from that unique image. It’s nothing like giclee! It’s a whole other corner of fine art. Have you been missing out? Come see a demonstration of the inking and printing process, a show and tell of plates and tools, then try your hand at printing from the plates and blocks in the Shop’s library. Take home whatever you print! Registration for $5 classes opens one month before the start of each class and closes one week before the start date. Set a reminder to come back and register for each one! Spots are limited.
