Curious about your family history? Join us for Rooted in History, a welcoming drop-in event where you can begin exploring your family story. Bring photos, documents, or research you already have, or simply come, and we will help get you started. We will have family tree-making stations, a research area with guidance and resources, and a large map where visitors can pin the places their families come from. You can also learn simple tips for preserving family photos and documents, and discover places and tools that can help you continue your research after the event. Whether you are just getting started or have been exploring your family history for years, everyone is welcome.
