Arbor Day Seedling Giveaway Want a free tree seedling? Have questions about trees? Stop by the Wilmette Public Library from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Arbor Day, Friday, April 24th. In celebration of Arbor Day, the Park District, Village, and Wilmette Public Library will be distributing free tree seedlings, including redbuds, white oaks and tulip poplars. Come early before they are gone! Have pressing tree questions? Village Foresters and Park District staff will be on-site to answer any tree-related questions and share information about the Park District’s Tree Management Plan!
