Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn the basics of successful fall tree planting and how to prepare your trees for the winter months ahead. Together we will discover best practices for selecting, planting, watering and mulching trees to support long-term success. We’ll also cover simple overwintering techniques to help protect trees from winter stress. After the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to put your new knowledge into practice by helping plant trees alongside Park District staff in Mallinckrodt Park!
