The production opens, fittingly, on Halloween night, October 31, with additional public performances November 1 and 13-15 at the Edna Boykin Cultural Center in downtown Wilson. In the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, stories of wonder and strangeness surround the legend of a mighty headless Hessian. When humble schoolteacher Ichabod Crane vies with Brom Bones for the hand of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, the townsfolk may have their opinions, but ultimately it is the legendary Headless Horseman who will decide Ichabod’s fate. The Heimbuch/Ferguson adaptation brings the eerie tale to life through an ensemble that creates the environment, atmosphere and colorful residents of Sleepy Hollow. TICKET INFO All performances feature general admission seating, with one special perk for ACT! for Youth season ticket holders: the ability to reserve their seats. Individual tickets for THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW go on sale September 18. Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Adult tickets increase to $15 at the door, while senior and student tickets remain $10.
