Get your hands on some fun! Our Hands-On History Open House is fun for all ages, especially kids! Chat with a friendly blacksmith, use traditional hand tools to make a toy boat, see Castine history up close on a Perkins House tour, and taste delicious bread fresh from our harborside bake oven! Plus, there’ll be demonstrations from special guests and our third annual dinosaur egg hunt! Our Hands-On History Days are offered every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon in July and August. All activities are kid-friendly, open to the public, and free of charge. Donations encouraged! Hands-On History at the Wilson Museum is made possible through the generous support of Camden National Bank.
