IMBIBE: No Chard Feelings

Chardonnay is one of the most misunderstood grapes in the world. Beloved by some, dismissed by others, and endlessly shaped by where it's grown and how it's made. The truth is, there is a version of this grape for every palate. You just might not have met yours yet! Join us for an evening led by Certified Wine Educator Steve Alley, hosted at The Wine Cellar in Lakeway. Together, you'll travel from the chalk cliffs of Champagne to the limestone soils of Burgundy to the sun-soaked hillsides of California, with a few remarkable stops in between. You will discover how terroir, oak, and winemaking technique can transform a single grape into something completely different in every glass. Whether you're a devoted Chardonnay fan looking to deepen your appreciation or a card-carrying member of the ABC (Anything But Chardonnay) club ready to reconsider, this class was made for you! After the tasting, stay and explore — The Wine Cellar's retail selection means you can take your new favorite bottle home that night! This event is for ages 21+ All event tickets are non-refundable IMBIBE means to consume or absorb – and that’s exactly what you’ll do in our classes… consume and absorb wine, food, and knowledge.
