About this event
One of 51 upcoming events at Wine School of Philadelphia, and 3,173 across Philadelphia.
Canaan, one of the world’s oldest wine regions, spans present-day Lebanon and Israel, where winemaking dates back over 5,000 years. The region’s ancient vineyards supplied wine to Egypt and Mesopotamia, and biblical texts reference its deep winemaking heritage. This class explores that legacy through wines from Lebanon and Israel, highlighting how ancient techniques and terroir continue to shape modern production.
