From Yellow Woman Ranch

A Mindful Walk at Sunset with Lama Tashi Norbu Meet at Yellow Woman Ranch at 5 PM Walk 5:30–6:30 PM · By donation As the desert begins its transition from day to evening, join Lama Tashi for a mindful walk to one of Borrego Springs’ most extraordinary works of art—the enormous metal serpent at Galleta Meadows. Stretching some 350 feet across the desert, the serpent rises and disappears into the sand, its dragon-like head framed by mountains and open sky. We’ll meet at Yellow Woman Ranch at 5 PM and drive to the sculpture together. From there, we’ll slow down, walk mindfully, and experience this remarkable meeting of art, desert, and evening light. Part of Tibet Comes to Borrego, a four-day Tibetan Healing Festival with Lama Tashi Norbu. Explore the full festival schedule.
