Austin Pond Society August Meeting

The AUSTIN POND SOCIETY AUGUST MEETING is Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. atHyde Park Christian Church. The featured speaker is Douglas Soltau from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the topic is Xeriscapes Without Rock. He will share practical ideas for creating beautiful, water-wise landscapes that don’t rely on rock. While his professional background is in construction law, he has long been a dedicated supporter and advocate for the Wildflower Center’s ecological and environmental initiatives.
