A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music in London and The Juilliard School, he is widely respected as a creative, supportive, and distinctive sideman and bandleader. Upon graduating with first-class honors from Guildhall, he received the Yamaha Jazz Award, presented at the UK Houses of Parliament.
