His acclaimed albums, including G’s Wish (featuring Mark Turner) and Starry Night, highlight his ability to evoke deep emotion through music. Nakai maintains a busy performance schedule across NYC and Japan, collaborating with artists like Lonnie Plaxico, Sullivan Fortner, and Peter Bernstein. He has also contributed original compositions to the innovative Future Brain Lab project, expanding his artistry beyond the stage.
