Join the Anne Springs Close Greenway for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census and become a community scientist for the day. In just 15 minutes, you will help collect valuable data on bees, butterflies, beetles and other pollinators while contributing to one of the Southeast’s largest citizen science initiatives. Perfect for all ages and experience levels, this hands-on conservation and education event begins with a brief introduction, survey materials and guidance before participants head to designated pollinator-friendly areas to complete an official count. Writing utensils, clipboards and all census materials will be provided. A staff member will be on-site to provide direction and assist with identifying plants and insects.
