25th Anniversary of 9/11 Honor Walk

The Army Historical Foundation invites visitors to take part in a special Honor Walk at the National Museum of the United States Army in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This free outdoor activation offers visitors a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the service and sacrifice that followed. The Honor Walk will take place on the Museum’s Demonstration Track on September 11, 12, and 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to plan their day on the Museum grounds, visit the Museum’s galleries, and spend time in reflection while taking part in this commemorative experience. The Army Historical Foundation team will be on site at the track with water and light snacks available for participants. We thank the Fairfax250 Commission for its support of this program.
