Revolutionary War Range Day

Join The Army Historical Foundation for Revolutionary War Range Day on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Shadow Hawk Defense in Hedgesville, West Virginia. Registration is open to individuals participating in the event and non-participating spectators and includes waters, snacks, and lunch after the event (lunch details TBD). Participants – $250/person (event limited to 20 participants) Non-Participating Spectators – $25/person Participants will learn about early American firearms and have the opportunity to fire the following weapons under the direction and supervision of firearms experts and safety officers: Brown Bess Musket Fergus Rifle (breech-loading) Flintlock Rifle (muzzle-loading) Queen Anne Pistols Six Pounder Cannon (yes, an 18th-Century cannon) All participants (including spectators) are required to wear eye and ear protection at all times. The Foundation will provide both eye and ear protection, but participants are permitted and encouraged to bring their preferred shooting protection. Everyone is also encouraged to bring a camp or lawn chair and any additional snacks and drinks to enjoy the morning as well as a phone or camera to take video and pictures.
