From FalmouthCulturalCouncil

The West Falmouth Library is offering a Write Out Cape Cod session in their garden, weather permitting, or in their Community Room. This year’s theme is Write Where We Stand, which centers writing in the places that shape and sustain us. Participants can choose to write about a landscape, historic site, neighborhood, trail, local tradition, person, community, plant or animal, body of water, or personal experience. A series of poems which will serve as prompts, as well as a handmade notebook to sketch and write about how nature is an inspiration. Write Out is a national program that inspires writers to draw from the world around them through place-based writing and sharing, deepening connections to place, nature, and community. FREE. No registration is required. The West Falmouth Library is a proud participant in Card to Culture, the Mass Cultural Council’s program that provides access to our low-income and working families who are EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare cardholders. Information on what free or steeply discounted access they offer, call the library at 508-548-4709 or email them at [email protected]
