ABOUT THE MUSICIAN Diego Vázquez is a Spanish pianist from Madrid now based in Asheville, NC, who views music as a way to understand and express emotions beyond words. He began playing at age four and developed a strong classical foundation, later expanding into pop and musical theater. After years of studying in Spain, he now pursues music independently in the U.S., performing as a chapel pianist, choir member, and orchestra musician while also learning the organ.
