Introduction to Seed Saving

Learn how to properly save vegetable and flower seeds from your garden so that you can plant them next year. We’ll discuss how to identify mature seeds, how to prepare them for saving, and how to store them. This workshop is primarily instructional; however, if you have plants whose seeds you’d like to save, you may bring a sample for demonstration. Then, apply your knowledge at a hands-on Seed Saving Workshop on Saturday, October 17. Presented by Roots Rising. This program will be located near the Reading Terrace on the main floor of the library.
