Fundraising Event for Barb Pederson

 Fundraiser for Barb Pederson  Join us as we come together as a community to support someone who has given so much to others. Many of you know Barb Pederson, lovingly known by many as “Bita.” Barb has spent years serving our community — volunteering with the St. Croix Falls American Legion Auxiliary, helping at countless events, and working in the service industry where so many people came to know and love her. She also owned a bridal shop where she helped generations of girls prepare for prom and weddings. If you’ve attended events at Big Rock Creek or the St. Croix Falls American Legion in recent years, chances are Barb was there with a smile, ready to help wherever she was needed. Today Barb is facing the toughest challenge of her life. Barb is currently battling terminal cancer and has begun an alternative treatment program in Arizona that is not covered by insurance. Because she cannot fly, Barb and her husband Bob made the long drive through winter weather to Arizona so she could begin treatment on February 24, 2026. While Barb continues treatment in Arizona, Bob will be traveling back and forth between Wisconsin and Arizona when time allows. Along with the cost of treatment, they are also facing significant travel and living expenses while Barb continues her care. Now it’s our turn to show up for Barb the way she has always shown up for others.  Please join us for an afternoon of food, raffles, and community support.  Saturday, April 11, 2026  1:00 PM – 4:00 PM  Big Rock Creek – St. Croix Falls, WI  Taco Feed & Treats – Free Will Donation  Fundraiser Activities • Gun Raffles • Basket Raffles • Meat Raffles • 50/50 Raffles • Additional raffle prizes All proceeds will go directly to Barb and Bob Pederson to help with treatment and living expenses while Barb continues her fight.  Can’t attend but want to help?
