3-Day Oil Workshop with Artist Dustin Van Wechel / “Dynamic Wildlife Painting” Thursday, April 15 – Saturday, April 17, 2027 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Discover new approached and techniques for painting wildlife in this fun and intensive workshop! Through a combination of painting demonstrations, lectures, and one-on-one instruction, Dustin will guide you through the process of creating a wildlife work from concept to completion. Topics such as understanding form, design, and color to create drama as well as introducing painting techniques that will enhance your work, are just some of the vital components of wildlife painting that will be covered in this workshop. Open to all, beginners through professionals. Students should bring reference material such as photographs, field sketches, and plein air paintings from which to work.  Some photographic reference will be provided for those who require it.
