3-Day Portrait Workshop with Artist Bart Lindstrom Wednesday, October 28 – Friday, October 30, 2026 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM The workshop will be three days, focusing on painting portraits with full-color alla prima methods. Bart Lindstrom will demonstrate his approach to using color and values. Workshop attendees will first be introduced to color mixing and then helped to understand why it is based directly on complimentary color theory. Attendees will then be given a chance to work with the palette and color system from live models with direct assistance and guidance. The goal of this workshop is to help demystify color and turn complimentary color theory into a useful, dependable, and exciting painting tool.
