Join us for a two-hour collage workshop in partnership with our neighbors, Taylor & Co. Books. We’ll source archival materials from the New York Public Library Picture Collection to explore how images, textiles, and fiction work together to form impactful stories. Imaging Fiction will be led by local textile artist Jessie Kritt White, and Augusta X. Thomson, author of the recently released novel, To Will a House, which juxtaposes collage with fiction. Come with any images, objects, and excerpts from stories that inspire you. All other materials will be provided. This event is FREE! Space is limited, RSVP is required.
