From Cable Natural History Museum

(Master Naturalist Advanced Training) This boardwalk winds its way through the wetlands that cover the headwaters of both the Brule and St. Croix Rivers, the ancient drainage channel of Lake Superior during the waning days of the last ice age. Several types of wetlands, including cedar swamp and black ash swamp will be traversed and investigated without getting your feet wet. Evidence of wildlife, along with interesting lichens and plants, make photography a must. Register by: September 19 Cost: $35 member/$45 non-member Meet at Museum to Carpool and Caravan, or meet at the location.
