From Cable Natural History Museum

(Master Naturalist Advanced Training) This relatively easy, 3-mile loop trail system follows the eastern bank of the scenic St. Croix River near Grantsburg. Along the way are stepped cliffs of pale Cambrian sandstone, deposited near the shore of an ancient sea. Sandrock Cliffs offers a look at many interesting botanical species, due to the shift in soil types throughout the landscape. Meet at the Museum and carpool to the field site. Register by: September 26 Cost: $35 member/$45 non-member Meet at Museum, or L&M parking lot in Hayward.
