June 14 through September 13 The Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University 167 N. Atchison St., Orange, California 92866 Hours: Wednesday through Sunday; 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Although the upcoming Gold Medal Exhibition will continue the long tradition of being unthemed, since the 115th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States, the juried works will highlight artwork inspired by the people, landscapes and stories within our nation’s borders. Artists may submit up to two “standard-size” works and one miniature for consideration, keeping in mind the California Art Club’s mission, which is to promote the best examples of today’s traditional fine art while showcasing what makes your work unique. This display will be a part of the California Art Club’s “Celebrating California’s 175” exhibition series that commemorates the 31st state of the union’s anniversary, and the United States’ 250th anniversary. Featured artists will be announced on the CAC website in March 2026. An Artists’ Reception is tentatively planned for Saturday, June 13 between 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
