The Central Coast, Malibu/Ventura, and Santa Barbara Chapters invites you to a paint/sculpt-out at Douglas Family Preserve on Saturday, June 20. About Douglas Family Preserve Each year, we bring together the artists of the Central Coast, Santa Barbara, and Malibu/Ventura Chapters at the Douglas Family Preserve in Santa Barbara. Named after donor/actor Michael Douglas, this venue is 70 acres of semi-feral land bordered by the ocean to the south and the Los Padres Mountains to the North with trails, and meadows, and copses of stunning beauty. Due to the confluence of ocean, land, mountains, weather, time of day, there are always views of color, light an shadow worthy of an artists time and paint. This event brings together the members of these three chapters to encourage friendships and to introduce non-members to some of the members of the California art Club in hopes that they will see value in joining.
