Duck Yuletide Celebration

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at the annual Duck Yuletide Celebration, a festive Outer Banks tradition that brings residents and visitors together for an afternoon of holiday entertainment, family-friendly activities, and small-town charm. Held at Duck Town Park, this free community event welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy the sights, sounds, and traditions of Christmas in the heart of Duck. The festivities feature live holiday music, seasonal treats, and activities for the whole family, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the town's scenic park. One of the highlights is the lighting of Duck's signature Crab Pot Tree, a unique coastal take on the traditional Christmas tree. Families can also look forward to a special appearance by Santa Claus, who arrives aboard a Duck fire truck to greet children and spread holiday cheer. The celebration also encourages giving back to the community through donations to local charitable organizations. Visitors can extend their holiday outing by exploring Duck's charming village, where locally owned boutiques, specialty shops, and restaurants offer plenty of opportunities for Christmas shopping and seasonal dining. With its combination of festive traditions, coastal character, and welcoming community spirit, the Duck Yuletide Celebration is a memorable way to welcome the holiday season on the Outer Banks.
