Botanical Watercolor Painting with Sarah Crossman

Following the spring iris class, we’re excited to offer a second, all-new workshop with artist Sarah Crossman – this time inspired by a seasonal summer bloom. The artistic subject will be a classic heat-loving annual flower from the daisy family, like a zinnia or cosmos. Perfect for all skill levels -- participants will learn step-by-step how to create a finished painting from the provided reference image. Sarah will demonstrate essential watercolor techniques, including washes, wet-on-wet, and dry brush, offering plenty of individual guidance throughout the session. You’ll leave with a completed painting and a solid foundation to continue your watercolor practice at home. Materials are provided, but feel free to bring any of your own watercolor supplies if you prefer.
