Artist Workshop with Nolan Tredway

Saturday, October 3rd | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Cryptids are creatures that exist somewhere between folklore, rumor, memory, and imagination. They are the taboo underbelly of storytelling, yet we will always tell a tale near a campfire. In this workshop, you will invent a personal cryptid inspired by an emotional experience you have had in or nearby Jackson, Wyoming. Your creature might embody a feeling, protect a particular place, haunt a memory, or make visible something that normally goes unnoticed. At the end of the workshop, we will place everyone’s cryptids on a shared map, creating a mythological geography of Jackson.
