OysterFest Skipjack Sails Saturday, Nov. 7 | 10-11:30am & noon-1:30pm Welcome aboard 1955 skipjack Rosie Parks during OysterFest! On Saturday, Nov. 7, we’re thrilled to offer a pair of 90-minute sails–10:30am and noon–to experience cruising the Miles River on this historic oyster dredging vessel. If you’d like to help our crew, led by Vessel Conservation Manager Sam Hilgartner, hoist sails, trim sail, or take the helm, that is encouraged. If not, you can relax on deck and enjoy a pleasant spring sail with our Shipyard staff and volunteers. OysterFest admission is included with your skipjack sail ticket. The vessel is capped at six passengers per sail. This program is supported through CBMM’s Regional Folklife Center under the Maryland Traditions program of the Maryland State Arts Council.
