About this event
Downtown Kennesaw Celebrates Fall with Candy Crawl & Outdoor Movie Night Downtown Kennesaw is the place to be this October with two exciting community events perfect for all ages. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to enjoy a fun-filled fall day and evening in the heart of our city. 2025 Candy Crawl It’s spooky season in Downtown Kennesaw! On Saturday, October 25, from Noon – 5:00 PM, the annual Candy Crawl, presented in partnership with Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association, returns with trick-or-treating at downtown businesses, carnival-style games, bounce houses, and festive pumpkin photo ops. Don’t miss the chance to stroll through the Scarecrows on Main display while collecting treats along the way. This year, the event has been expanded to Saturday afternoon, giving families more time to trick-or-treat at their favorite downtown spots. Participation in the Candy Crawl is free, although some activities, such as bounce houses, may be pay-to-play. Public parking is available throughout downtown, and an event map will highlight candy stops and game locations. Outdoor Movie Night at the Amphitheater After a day of candy and costumes, stick around for an evening under the stars at the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park. At 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 25, the City will present a free screening of the sci-fi classic Invaders from Mars. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site, making this the perfect way to wrap up a festive fall day. Mark your calendars for both events: Candy Crawl – Saturday, October 25, Noon – 5:00 PM Outdoor Movie Night: Invaders from Mars – Saturday, October 25, 7:30 PM Both events are free and open to the public.
