Waterloo Makes Music is a free concert series, presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, Future, showcasing acts from the Cleveland music scene at various locations in the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District. Fox Ears Fox Ears blends funk, rock, R&B and soul, shifting naturally between groove-heavy tracks and more reflective moments. Their sound pulls from classic foundations but avoids nostalgia, focusing instead on balance: polished yet raw, confident and self-aware. Horns, guitars, keys, and bass are treated as equals, allowing each song to take the shape it needs. Led by the effervescent Meganne Stepka (guitar), the band features the incomparable Lisa Kimpel (drums), the grounding presence of Chris Frohring (bass), and the delightful lift of Kate Hart (keys).
