 Syracuse’s urban neighborhoods continue to face chronic public health challenges. Resistance to traditional healthcare is widespread. Vaccination rates are the lowest in the region. Diabetes, hypertension, cancer, infant mortality, and respiratory disease rates are high. Communication with isolated residents lacking computers and transport is difficult.
