Come contribute to The Growing Hive: A Community Weaving Project! 🐝✨ The Growing Hive is an interactive, collaborative art installation coordinated by local macrame artist Tatianna Monet, designed to bring our community together through the beauty of art. From now through November, this living piece of art is taking shape at the Central Library—and we want your hands to help build it! Whether you're a seasoned maker, a curious beginner, or have never touched yarn in your life, this project is for you. Stop by during library hours to add your own strands to the structure and help us weave a collective story of connection and creativity. All materials and simple instructions are provided —just bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to contribute! How to participate: Drop in anytime during Central Library hours through November (3rd floor) Add your own unique touch to the interactive hive installation Watch our community artwork grow week by week! Come weave your story into ours. We can’t wait to see what we build together! This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts. *open during library hours
