September Trail Tamers – After Hours

Join us for the final After Hours of the season! We’re looking for volunteers to join us on Thursday, September 10th from 5:00 – 6:30pm for the final After Hours workday of the season. This month we will be heading to Castner Brook Community Forest to work on building a new hiking trail. Work will include clearing a trail corridor using loppers and handsaws, and defining the trail tread. We will meet at the Castner Brook parking lot located on Piper Mill Rd in Damariscotta. Please plan on bringing water, work gloves, and sturdy shoes. We will provide all necessary tools and materials, but if you have a favorite pair of loppers or shears, feel free to bring those!
