Do Bees Pee? Join us on the farm September 12 at 11 a.m. to find out! Award-winning children’s book author Linda Booth Sweeney will join us for a reading of her new book Do Bees Pee? The Curious and Amazing Ways Nature Avoids Poo-lution. This playful, science-filled story helps kids discover nature’s brilliant closed-loop systems, where nothing is wasted and everything is connected, with a dash of potty humor. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase. After the reading, families can join a farm-wide scavenger hunt exploring how pollinators connect to flowers, crops, soil, and compost. We’ll also be joined by the CEO of Dean's Beans Organic Coffee Company, a B Corp coffee company building fair, regenerative supply chains with farmers around the world. "Look for DO BEES PEE? lawn signs around town (and on the farm!) and scan the QR codes to discover more about pollinators, farms, and the hidden brilliance of nature's circular systems."
