DESCRIPTION Cupping is the industry’s standard way of evaluating the aroma and taste of coffee. In Coffee Tasting Intensive, students will learn how to set up a cupping table, taste coffees from different regions, and isolate tasting notes from the SCA coffee taster’s wheel. Instructor | Kaleena Teoh Kaleena Teoh is a co-founder at Coffee Project NY, the Academy’s Director of Education and a certified AST (Authorized SCA Trainer) and oversees all Academy lesson plans and curricula. She has a background in psychology, speech pathology, and social work and is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and American Sign Language.
