DESCRIPTION From bloom to draw down, get hands-on instruction in manually brewing pour over coffee and learn about extraction principles. The Pour Over Intensive workshop is designed for novices, enthusiasts, and beginners who want a both practical and theoretical lesson in how to make pour overs. CURRICULUM Order of operations and best practices for brewing pour overs Basic extraction theory Understanding the variables that affect coffee brewing MORE INFORMATION Cancellation Policy Due to highly limited seating and the cost of producing each class, we kindly ask that if you need to change or cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. While we don’t offer refunds for classes, we will accommodate changes based on when you reach out to us and how much advance notice is given before the date of the reservation. Over 4 weeks: free rescheduling or credit of equal value toward any class Under 4 weeks: $50 fee or credit of original value minus $50 Under 72 hours: 50% fee or credit of 50% of original class value Under 24 hours: no credit available Please purchase classes carefully. Instructor | Kaleena Teoh Kaleena Teoh is a co-founder at Coffee Project NY, the Academy’s Director of Education, a certified AST (Authorized SCA Trainer), and a Q Grader. Teoh oversees all Academy lesson plans and curricula. She has a background in psychology, speech pathology, and social work and is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and American Sign Language. Instructor | Peace Sakulclanuwat Peace Sakulclanuwat is a wholesale trainer and educator at Coffee Project NY. She has a passion for teaching and aims to share the tools of coffeemaking with everyone. Peace is an experienced competitor in the US Brewer’s Cup: she ranked 2nd nationwide in 2024 and 3rd in 2026. Workshop Level This is an entry-level workshop designed for beginners and enthusiasts with minimal prior knowledge or practical training in the subject.
