From Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC

Timothy Ryan will present at the 2026 Construction Super Conference alongside co-presenters Jayne Czik, Andy Ness and Andrew Barton on the emerging role of artificial intelligence in arbitrating construction disputes. The program will explore how AI arbitration works, the technology currently available and in development and its potential to improve efficiency, control costs and provide greater consistency in resolving disputes. Tim and his co-presenters will examine AI arbitration from the perspectives of construction counsel, contractors’ general counsel, traditional arbitrators and sureties, while addressing the potential benefits, risks and practical considerations of adopting the technology. The presentation will also feature a case study comparing the outcome of a traditional arbitration with results generated by two different AI platforms, providing a practical look at how AI could shape the future of construction dispute resolution.
