Introduction to Papermaking and Bookbinding: Pulp to Pages with Mia Brown-Seguin Weeklong Workshop Dates: Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 Time: 10AM – 5PM, daily Description: Starting from pulp! Learn the basics of papermaking, then bind one of a kind notebooks with your handmade paper. In this weeklong immersive workshop, participants will learn western sheet forming methods, pulp painting techniques, and how to operate a hollander beater to produce pulp. After production sheet forming, participants will make three hand bound books including a saddle stitch, japanese stab bind, and coptic bind.
